Background

The regulatory industry seems to be in a perpetual "catch-up" mode regarding technological advancements. All these continual changes are reflected in the following:
  • A move of computerized systems from client-servers format to web-based platforms;
  • A move from on-premises data centers to cloud service provider data centers;
  • A move from complex computerized systems to even more complex Artificial Intelligence models.
 

Course Description

This special symposium is a time for the QA Professionals and others to kick-start our understanding, use, and control of AI to improve regulatory compliance. This one-day symposium will include:
  • Keynote speaker to address machine learning adoption in regulated industries;
  • Presentations about the training the QA Professional may require supporting AI-regulated projects;
  • Case studies based on existing solution providers' experience implementing AI in regulated contexts;
  • Presentations about the existing regulatory frameworks governing AI system implementation and management within regulated companies;
  • Case study and survey questions;
  • Roundtable discussion and next steps for AI, the QA Professional, and SQA.
