Welcome to the Society of Quality Assurance (SQA).  As an SQA member you are now connected to over 2,300 QA professionals who are dedicated to promoting and advancing the principles and knowledge of Quality Assurance essential to human, animal and environmental health. We ask that you to take a moment to review the information and documents below and to become familiar with the SQA website.

As a member of SQA it is important that you take a moment read and understand the following documents:

How do I manage my new membership?


To manage your account, first Sign In at the top of the home page, then click on the “MY SQA” button that appears, or the "MY SQA" link at the very top of the site.  On the MY SQA page are links to update your contact information, view your profile that fellow members see in the searchable member directory, view your payment history and more.  Check the area for "My Favorite SQA URLs" that helps you quickly access any page on the site that you find most useful. Each page has a link at the top, right for adding it to your favorites.

How do I reclassify my membership?


SQA offers various types of membership.  Should you meet the requirements to reclassify to an Affiliate or Active membership type in the future, we encourage you to submit an Reclassification Application along with your supporting documentation to sqa@sqa.org.  






 

How do I join a Specialty Section or Committee?


Network, collaborate and build your knowledge with fellow members who have special interests similar to yours by joining a Specialty Section or Committee. Visit the Specialty Section or Committees webpage to learn more about each group. Complete the Committee/Specialty Section Membership Application and submit it as instructed on the form.

 

Can SQA help me build my career?


Yes!  Visit the SQA Career Center for helpful information including resume tips and examples, interview tips, Ask the Recruiter Q&A and a list of employment opportunities that is updated weekly.  You can also partner up with a fellow member as a mentor, mentee or peer through the Mentoring Program.  The Mentoring Program offers you a chance to receive feedback and encouragement, acquire new knowledge and skills, increase your professional network and more!  




Can I become a member of an SQA Regional Chapter?

 
Yes you can!  We encourage you to connect with QA professionals in your geographic region by becoming a member of an SQA Regional Chapter.  View the list of SQA Regional Chapters and links to their website where you can learn about their activities and how to join! 


 

Does SQA have any upcoming training or events?


Yes!  SQA holds:
